Hello Friends

Right now I am in the works of getting a News Reporter to Travel With me in my Truck, I hope to be able to take him on what we call a rounder Trip what that is is a trip From Vancouver BC Canada to Calgary Alberta then on to Red Deer Alberta and on to Edmonton Alberta, From there we  will be heading back to Vancouver BC Canada. This is for the First time you the Public will get to see  what we as Long Haul Professional Drivers do everyday,.

This is not about me This is about Safety and to Educate you that drive cars SUV and pickup Trucks Campers, They do not  teach  you in Driving Schools what it is We as Truck Drivers do and why we do what we do on the Highway’s all over the world. I know there have been Many shows out there showing trucking but this is going to be Completely 100% real deal. I am not the King of the road here and even I make Mistakes out on the Highway, There are Manny Drivers with Lots More Experience then I have, But this has to be done and shown to you all, I have Seen So many Needless Accidents and Sadly People Die over this summer of 2010 Then ever before.

My feeling is this if i can save just one Life by taking the Time and the Reporters time to show you what this is all about and what we have to do day in day out 24 hrs day 7 days a week you will Understand and give Big trucks Room on the Highway’s and City’s all over Canada and the World.

Understand This Please and this it to My Professional Bothers and Sisters and Teem Drivers out there This is not about me this is about Safety and Educating  the Class 5 drivers and New Drivers out there, The Governments and Driving Schools don’t teach them Why we do what we do out on the Roads, So I will do what i can to try to show them what we have to do from Pre Trips to Post Trips finding Loads to dropping loads, right down to trying to find a place to pull over just to get a hot meal, The Public and the City’s We Deliver to are so not Trucker Friendly meaning here we are driving 13 hrs in Canada get to were we are going then cant even find a place to park to Sleep most of the Truck Stops are full and all the side roads have no parking signs.

Just to add to that the Washrooms that we as Long Haul Truckers are so Disgusting un clean and smell of raw urine, to the point the drivers wont use them and end up peeing in the Brake check area’s and or peeing in plastic bottles, I cant even think what our Lady drivers have to go threw its not right.

You see People it not that easy to just pull over big truck the sides of the highway’s here do not give us room to safely pull over in most places, when we do get to towns they have No Parking for big Trucks, Were are we to Eat shower or use the bathroom.

The thing is this We as Professional long haul Truck Drivers need better Places to pull over and Clean washrooms on the Highways here in Canada, how come some one in Jail has sinks and washrooms made from Steal . we get here in Canada along Highway one to Calgary Alberta washrooms that are made of Fiberglass and no sinks to wash our hands. how hard would it be to change this, then all they have to do is go in power wash them out keep them Clean, this is just .5 % what we have to deal with.

This is why you see so many people peeing in water bottles and milk jugs, its sick and is unhealthy to boot. and looks just sick also but drivers do it and so does the public the stink in the out house bathrooms and the mess on the floor is so bad in most of them it is unreal.

So Right Now I am not going to Leak out who the News crew is at this Point until it is Ready and set up 100%

This is to show to you all what you are doing out there and how Dangerous it is to sit on the Back of a truck’s trailer well we are rolling down the Highway, this Idea your saving gas by whats is called Drafting is load of garbage and so Dangerous  i cant see you when you are that close to me , if a deer was to jump out or car cut me off and I have to do an Emergency stop you as a car will look like the one in the photos below. I wont feel a thing just slight bump.

back in the old days early 60 70 with the old V 8 gas cars i might see why they did what they did by drafting us, but the new care now are built for saving gas so there is no need to do what you do.

one Last thing when you pass us all upset because we are not driving at the speeds you want to run at that is because for one we have to do the speed limit, then when you do pass some of you not all slam on your breaks why i have no idea but  know this it takes me miles to get heavy load to slow down  if we hit you you don’t stand a chance and probably be left killed or have broken necks from the force of impact.

REMEMBER PEOPLE THIS

Everything you buy  use and the fuel fill your cars up is Brought by TRUCK DRIVERS ALL OF IT. with out us you don’t eat or have jobs to go to We are the Back bone of the World Economy’s the World over.

Like We Truckers say you touch it buy it We Delivered it. Keep this also in your mind do you have A Family member in the Hospital sick Possibly with Cancer or needing kidney med’s ect  WELL We also bring that to the Hospitals and homes all over the World….

Keep bit of what i have said here Always in back of your mind and please  Give us big trucks ROOM out on the Highway we need it were are heavy and have a lot going on in that truck always .

Folks, please wake up. Stop doing this nonsense. Driving is not to be taken for granted.  Needless carnage. I see this here in Australia and now my good buddy Sean Brown @ProtruckR in Canada shares these real photographs direct from the scene there.  If there’s anything I can say or do to stop this, I’ll do it.  I am aware the issue is not that simple.  As a professional driver, endorsed & licensed by the Confederation of Australian Motor sport and having operated transport businesses for years, I’m aware of the hazards of driving at speed. It’s what we do – in the appropriate arena.  This incident occurred on a public road, on a public holiday.  Heard of that before?

What is even more horrific is that the truck involved was travelling at no more than 30km/h – on an incline (uphill) in the slow lane – and the passenger vehicle, in this case a Volkswagen Jetta (an ordinarily very safe vehicle) was likely travelling in excess of 150km/h.  Do the math yourselves.

The following images are not for the faint of heart, but they are real and really did just today occur. The firefighter leaning in the rear window of the sedan is supporting the neck of the passenger as paramedics secure them.

Sean spoke on the telephone with me tonight of the screaming that could be heard as he approached the accident as the first on scene.  The fate of those involved is as yet unknown, but needless to say those that survive this will bear scars that cannot be seen, and worse still cannot be undone.

My Heart goes out to the Families of this Tragic Accident, I hope this will be a Wake up Call to all of you. Please Drive Safe out on the Highways Slow Down if your Sleepy pull over take 20 min Nap, its called Micro sleeping We as Truckers Take 1 to 2 hrs Sleep if we get tired. There is no Reason to Speed or be Sleepy behind the Wheel of a car or Big Rig.

It Breaks my heart to show this to you all, But if this saves just one life then it was Worth my time to do just that.

Doing the Speed Limit From Calgary Alberta to Vancouver BC BY GPS takes 11.5 Hour’s by big Truck. 10.5 by Car. Even if you Do 120km All way all you will do get There 20 Min Earlier.

Let me Explain one thing You pass unsafe like most of you do and come at me Head on I Will Take you out. And put My Truck in Direct Center of you. The Bulk Tanker of ANHYDROUS Ammonia if it Breaks open Kills Everyone 30 Miles Down wind of it.

And This is just 3 of Many Dangerous Products you Pass Cut off and Put your life and the Lives of others at Risk when you drive Like a Fool out on the Roads.

If you Can Live with Killing a Small town or Some one’s Wife children or Grandparents Keep Driving like Fools.

This August long Weekend 19 People 1/2 Them Died in 2 days all out on Holidays.

Kindly Wake up Slow down And Most of All Stay away From Big Trucks. If the Photos here Don’t Prove the Point Then you have no Respect for Human Life and are a Danger to you and the Public.

I Have Had it with Seeing Dead People on the Roads and the Screaming from the Hurt.
